Tortilla Chips
Originally called
toconayo, „our meat“, sweet corn was the basic element from which the Gods created man, according to a Mayan myth. The various colours of the corn correspond to the different colours of man’s skin.
In Mexico, tortillas are made from yellow and blue corn, among others. Tortilla Chips María Dolores are baked, briefly deep-fried and lightly salted. There are three variations available.
